First, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped out with today’s move! From Les Scott this afternoon:
“The shed move is done. So many people stepped up to make it happen that I am overwhelmed…and extremely proud to be a part of this club. We must have had more than fifteen people show up to make the move and every bit of our equipment was moved from one end to the other in a hair over fifteen minutes. Wow! I don’t even know the names of many of the folks who participated, but it was great fun and a tremendous effort to witness. ”
A special thanks to Gail Miller for getting the interior of the shed finished, and to Anne Reynolds and Boomer Lambert who spent the entire day sorting, organizing, and putting things away.
An awesome club effort for sure!
Now, on to PNP play. Well, the good news is it looks pretty good for having the courts painted and ready by June 1, but now we find there is a problem with the nets, which seem to be a pretty critical aspect of pickleball to some people. So the bad news is SUG signups don’t open tomorrow and won’t open until we know the courts are ready with everything we need, including nets. We’ll notify everyone as soon as we know something certain.
Please bear with us…
