Before 2014, Oregon was one of only two states without a sanctioned State Senior Games. This event, which is presented by Humana, hosted by Visit Bend (http://www.visitbend.com/Bend_Oregon_Activities_Recreation/Oregon-Senior-Games/), and sponsored by PickleballCentral.com (http://www.pickleballcentral.com/), the Pickleball Rocks Team (http://www.pickleballrocks.com/) and The Racquet Shoppe (http://www.theracquetshoppe.com/), is officially sanctioned by the National Senior Games Association and will be held June 19-22 in Bend, Oregon. Athletes ages 50 and older can compete in one of the fourteen sports offered, including pickleball. It’s a great chance to test your mettle against other seniors while enjoying a getaway to the outdoor playground of the West. Whether you’re a super-competitive athlete, or just someone looking to stay active, the Oregon Senior Games is a great event to add to your bucket list.

06/19/14 (Thursday) @ 8:00 a.m. – Men’s Doubles & Women’s Singles (age based bracketing).
06/20/14 (Friday) @ 8:00 a.m. – Women’s Doubles & Men’s Singles (age based bracketing).
06/21/14 (Saturday) @ 8:00 a.m. – Mixed Doubles (age based bracketing).
