It’s all over but the cleanup! 225 players participated in 393 player events and 386 matches. Well over 100 club members volunteered their time and talents to make this event a huge success!! We heard many comments during the event from players who were impressed with how well the match ran, and the helpfulness and friendliness of our volunteer staff! Thank you to all of the players who participated and especially to our volunteers who made it all happen! Pictures from all three days will be available in our Gallery soon. Following is a comment received via email this morning from one of the competitors:

Comment: I just wanted to give a heart felt thank you to the entire Bend Pickleball Community. I played in the Oregon Senior Games this past weekend and had the most wonderful experience. It was not just because I played well, that was a very small part of the overall feeling. All the people at your booths were so friendly and helpful. I was given a natural cramp relief tablet from a volunteers own personal supply. I was thanked very sincerely after each match I reffed. It just seemed like everyone involved went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
Everyone raved about the new courts and the shading above our heads.
I sure hope this message can some how be posted for all who were involved with the tournament to see.
