The 2014 Oregon State Games Volunteer of the Year Award was given to Bend Pickleball Club because of the organization overall and the outstanding efforts of the club members and other volunteers. The pickleball tournament was the largest venue of the OSG with nearly 170 players.  The pickleball tournament volunteers numbered over 50 committed people.

Sponsors for the pickleball venue were Pickleball Central, Pickleball Rocks, and The Racquet Shoppe.

Humana,  the major sponsor for the entire OSG, was available with information each day.  Several of the Humana team even took time to learn and play pickleball.  Other overall OSG sponsors were Orion Eye and Avamere Family of Companies.

In addition to the sponsors, several vendors participated with the Bend Pickleball Club during the pickleball tournament.

Eastside Longboard Louie’s was food vendor for all three days providing Mayan-Hawaiian cuisine.  Addy Mac’s Creamery was out to the courts two days to scoop delicious homemade ice cream. And The Racquet Shoppe set up two days to display their pickleball sport equipment and clothing.
