Oregon Senior Games Pickleball Tournament registration is now open.
The event is scheduled for June 16, 17, 18, 2017. Because this is a non-qualifying year for the National Senior Games, we are slightly changing the format. This year we will have Skill/Age brackets, which means players will compete in their own age group against other players of the same skill level. We have also added 2.5 skill level doubles and mixed-doubles events. The tournament dates have been moved to one week later in June to remove conflicts with some school commencement events and hopefully increase the chances of warm and sunny weather.
We anticipate that these changes will cause a substantial increase in interest in this tournament. We have set registration limits in all events to keep the tournament manageable. Registrations in team events will be allocated first to completed TEAM entries. Therefore, it is possible for a person to register early but still be excluded from an event because of not finding a partner in a timely manner.
If you are thinking about playing in this tournament, we strongly advise you to register as soon as possible, and to make any needed partner arrangements as soon as possible.
